Add this to the list of restaurants we won't be visiting soon.....

I tried to meet up with one of my friends yesterday at Chic-Fila, but missed her. The girls and I decided to sit down and eat anyways. After lunch they were in the play area running around. I could see them just fine, but there are areas of the room where you don't have full vision of them. I thought it was fine cause I was right there. Wrong.

I watched Olivia run over to the side of play area and although all I could see was the ponytail on top of her head, she was alive. Just then, a mom comes running out of the room........"Naked baby in the playroom!"

I knew it was her. See, we've been potty training and as soon as she's wet or has to go, she strips down and she says *pee-pee-pee-pee-pee-pee-pee*. I run in and there she is in all her glory from the waist down..........naked.

At least she didn't pee in the place.

Just some afternoon sweetness.....

From the sweetie in my life! Her face is dirty, nose runny and hair a hot mess, but that is standard Olivia. And for those of you wondering, yes she is in a bikini. Yes, it is February and I understand. But these girls are making me nuts with their whole clothing situation. If I let them, they would change 10 times a day. They pick out their clothes and yell and scream if they don't like what I get them to wear. Now back to the bikini in February, at least she's not bare-assing everything in my house so it's okay.

Blue and Gold

Tyler is now through the WOLF thing of Boy Scouts. They had the Blue and Gold ceremony Saturday and I attended with him. He got all kinds of beltloops and badges. Very proud moment.

On a complete 'nother subject - we live in the damn country. The ceremony was held at the Boy Scout Camp and it was pretty damn scary out there in the wilderness at night. Not only was it chilly, the bathroom nasty, but it was dark. Way dark. You look outside and only see the stars and the moon. You hear animals. Noises that aren't there --- or are they? I was freaked out and I think Tyler was too. We RAN to our car afterwards and locked the doors, you know, cause wild animals can open doors.

Any how - here are a few pictures from the ceremony:

Last weekend I was living it up in LA

This weekend, I'm trying to calm down from probably one of the worst week's in a loooooong time.

Come home from a great trip to cold weather. Not bad, right? Wait it gets worse.

I feel like crap. Seems like the antibiotics I was on for five days prior are not working. Since I was training to walk the Country Music Marathon, I still went and walked not feeling so great. Went home and almost died. Had an appointment with the doctor the following day.

Woke up to snow and ice. Thankfully someone in Davidson County has enough sense to send them to school. My dad gets here a few minutes late to watch the girls. I go off to the doctor and end up with a shot of antibiotics in my butt and two weeks worth of pills. Things are looking up.....for the minute.

Come home and the girls are in bed crying. It was 10 am. Seems they locked Grandpa out of the bedroom and wouldn't let him in......for a while. He put the smack down on them.

Soon after he leaves (I try to talk him into staying for lunch but he refuses and as had enough) Abbe starts to cry her ear hurts. Since Olivia is nursing an ear infection and is on Amoxicillin I figured I'd better get her into the doctor. I did that afternoon and she is now on Amoxicillin.

I take Tyler to dance and come home feeling worse. I end up in bed with the chills and completley miserable. I had about ten blankets on me and just wanted to die. But I didn't.......

Wake up and wished I would've died. Walked into the kitchen only to find that Abbe cut off her ponytails. Under Daddy's watchfull eye, she decided it was time for a haircut. Really short one on the left side.

And a sink full of dirty dishes and a dirty house......

Oh and I had to back out of my commitment to the Country Music Marathon to my friend. The only I asked to do it with me in the first place? Yeah. I just can't commit to train.

This tops it all..........

Day started off okay. Actually quite nice. I feel better. Girls seem healthy. After about four loads of laundry and hauling three huge bags of garbage to the dumpster, we went out for a little ride since it was nice outside. Swung by the bakery and got a cake. Came home to watch Dr. Phil.

Then it hit me.......was I supposed to pick up the kids from school? Yes, that's me, the one that forgot to pick up not only my kid......but my carpool kid too. Shit is all I can say at this point. I made it, they didn't have to wait too long, about seven minutes in the office. Good thing was someone else forgot their kid cause they were still sitting there too.

Pink and red <3 dresses

Picked up some cute little dresses for the girls at H&M in LA over the weekend. It was a treat to shop there since we don't have one in Nashville. Here are some flicks of the kiddos.

Los Angeles

I'm back from the weekend trip! Had a fantastic time. The weather was perfect. BEYOND perfect. I could totally get into that lifestyle if I had a ton of money. I wouldn't want to be average out there - that's no fun. You'd have to be flaming ass rich!!

We went to The Ivy for dinner Friday after a day of sight seeing. Then we went to a comedy show and some clubs. The bars out there close early! 2 am. Saturday more sightseeing, had lunch with a friend of mine Jenn in Downtown Disney, shopped at the Grove, went to a GREAT Mexican place for dinner and had flaming margaritas before heading off to some more clubs.

My brother has a great place in a great location. Right on the corner of Hollywood Blvd and Sycamore St. You walk out and are a few hundred feet from the Chinese and Kodak Theatres. I love all the diversity and trendy/sheek place to eat. I could eat for days there!!

Oh and IN-N-OUT BURGERS ROCK!!!! Especially at 2:30 am!!!

Quick Update!

We've all been sick. It started on Saturday with an ear infection for Olivia. Tuesday Abbe Mae had a stomach bug which she promptly passed on to me. Today, Tyler is home with a sore throat. Ugghhh!

We also were hit with some severe storms Tuesday night. Thankfully, we were spared the worst of it, but nonetheless it was pretty scary. The sirens were going off like it was a war zone and I didn't get to sleep until 3 am. But thanks to all those for calling and checking on us!!

I'm off to LAX now. Leaving on a jet plane at 4:55.

West Siiiiiiiiiiide!!

Thursday I leave for some California lovin'. A weekend trip to LA to hang out with my trendy brother and have some fun in the sun. Since he's single and high rollin', he lives in an exclusive area in Hollywood. I'm excited to see him but not really wanting to leave my little family now. BUT, we are going to the IVY for dinner Friday! Right on Robertson Blvd in paparazzi valley. Not sure what else we will do but it should be fun.
