Isn't she a doll???

We need to break out the Rebel more often.

I don't know who I think I am, but I'm certainly not Superman. Saturday morning I was thrilled that Jason took the kids to the park and gave me a little time to focus on painting Tyler's room. Half way through the project I decided to hop on down stairs for a glass of ice-cold water. Well, in all my excitement and glee - I fell from probably the second or third top step allllll the way down to the bottom. I laid on the floor and cried thinking I broke my arm and my butt. I know you can't break your butt, but I swear I did. I didn't break my arm cause I can move it. Today I woke up and felt like I was hit by a truck. My arm, ribs and leg were sore. I'm not lying when I say my entire right butt-cheek is black and blue. I'd post pictures, but don't want to scare you! Thankfully, my loving husband took care of me today.....he's wonderful.

Moral of the story - Time without the kids may be great, but if they are here they can yell at your for running in the house or at least call 911 when you're passed out on the floor due to not taking your own adult advice.

Hot damn! We are going on vacation!

Today I purchased five round trip tickets to LAX. Yep, we are going out to visit my brother in LA. We will also spend some time at Disneyland, which I'm looking forward too. We've been to Disneyworld about 5-7 times, but never Disneyland. Our little trip takes place in October.

Fun, fun, fun!!

Steve McNair

Steve McNair, former Tennessee Titan's QB, was found dead this weekend in Nashville with his alleged 20-year old girlfriend. Since McNair is a hometown hero, the media, the community and the Titans, have all been very careful to not jump to conclusions about the relationship and have tipped toed a bit around the fact that McNair was in fact married with four children. They want to be respectful to his family and his memory.

It infuriates me that we are being respectful to his family when he was not. He was having an affair and heavily involved with a 20-year old girl. His poor wife. His poor kids. His poor family. His poor fans. They did not deserve this. It was his choice to behave like an idiot (as recent as Thursday him and this girl were pulled over for a DUI in THEIR car and she was arrested). It was his double life and the circumstances of his death that we will forever remember.

Now his family has to suffer for his mistakes. They have to try to understand this. They'll have to deal with this forever.

McNair did a ton of the Nashville community, most notably, young children with is football camps and scholarships. What he did was great, but now there are many young children that are wondering what infidelity is and why their hero would behave in such a selfish way.

I'm tired of hearing about these poor celebrities. It gets old. They have opportunity to do the right thing and make a positive difference in the world. But don't live a double life and then expect people to defend and preserve your memory.

Eff that.
